Our Rules of Engagement

Florida Legal Recruiter: Jonathan Broder

RECRUITING 101: What you need to know

So, what can you expect from us? And, what questions should I ask other recruiters to make sure I’m working with someone I feel comfortable with.

First, the RULES:

1. CONFIDENTIALITY: Everything discussed is Confidential. I’m not sharing anything we discuss with anyone except with your permission.

2. FEES: You never owe us or any recruiter a fee. If we are successful, perhaps a cocktail! My fees are paid by the company/firm making the hire. If another recruiter tries to convince you otherwise, it’s probably a scam.

3. REFERENCES: I will check references but I would never jeopardize your current employment in any way. I’m not going to call your boss or others that you currently work with.

4. MARKETING: I am a proactive recruiter and I will market your “Profile”, which means I will speak with my clients and contacts about you, your background, skills, and experience anonymously, without revealing any identifiable information.

5. ANTI-SPAM: I am not sending your resume all over town to every company or firm. I am not a resume broadcasting service and you don’t want to work with someone who is.

6. PERMISSION: Once a firm or company expresses serious interest in your Profile, I’ll let you know about the opportunity and with your permission; I will submit you for consideration.

7. ETHICS: I will not actively recruiter directly or indirectly out of my clients. Depending on where you currently work, I may not be able to be a resource for you.

8. PATIENCE: Working with a recruiter is a process. It takes time to identify the right opportunity for you, but I encourage you to actively manage your career. The first step is building a relationship with a recruiter so you can develop a level of comfort and trust.

I welcome the opportunity to work with you. I can be reached at 305-767-3744 or jon@stratpros.com
